My Practice

My Style

My teaching style is anchored in connection.  Together in class, we’ll use both physical postures and breath work to strengthen your mind, tone your body and take a deep dive into the layers of your most authentic self.  We’ll explore how the teachings of an ancient practice are accessible and adaptable to whatever your modern life looks like.  We’ll challenge what you believe you’re physically capable of.  We’ll hold energetic, welcoming, lighthearted space for each other, and you’ll walk out of class with tools to stay present, regain balance, and live wholly through your every day.

Each day you show up to practice will be different.  My commitment to you is to meet you exactly where you are, whether you’re looking to safely transition to a more advanced pose or you’re working on touching your toes.

My own teachers say that yoga is an ‘inside job.’  I believe that this transformative practice can benefit you regardless of your age, physical ability, job title, relationship status and the myriad other labels we use to limit our true potential.  I am so humbled by the experience of sharing yoga and meditation with others.  The process of learning from students and growing as a teacher knocks me off my feet in the best way possible.  I can’t wait to see you on the mat.
